In medicine, a benign lesion is usually a tumor that is not harmful or malignant, removed a small sample and examine it in the laboratory, presenting the diagnosis of: " negative for malignancy ". The tumor, therefore, does not represent any risk to health or the integrity of the person, shall however be removed or respectively cauterized by a surgeon.
